After the cancellation of the India Tour to Bangladesh, Sri Lanka Cricket’s (SLC) bypassed the with hopes of arranging a 6 match series.Their goals may be more realizable than previously thought given the gap in team India schedule.

Consequences of the unannounced cancellation of the Bangladesh tour

Rewards from visibility particularly because the Sri Lanka cricket board has been struggling with a paucity of international games.

What Could The Fixtures Be

The T20Is are fixed for August 14, 16, and 18 in Colombo and Kandy

The dates are not fixed and are subject to change if necessary. 

ODIs: 21, 23, 25 August (Galle and Colombo)

Like in many other tournaments, all the matches will most probably be scheduled as day-night fixtures to provide maximum commercial value and global reach.
